Honeysuckle

The customers in Meridian seem to go hard for Idaho. They like local stuff. I came up with this riff based on a Bee’s Knees. It uses Idaho gin and local honey.

1.5oz Red Fern Gin

0.5oz Italicus

1oz lemon juice

1oz honey syrup (1:1)

egg white

lemon twist

honeycomb

Add wet ingredients to a shaker. Dry shake. Hard shake. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass or a rocks glass with a big rock. Twist a lemon, and add it with a small piece of honeycomb to the rim of the glass.
